Reader Washer TipsFabric Softener
I use vinegar instead of a commercial fabric softener. I have and old Downy Ball, and I fill it to the line with vinegar, which is about a tablespoon. I throw it in the washer, and it opens during the spin cycle. It helps to soften and get rid of soap residue. Much cheaper than Downy! -- Courtesy of Nancy
